RiSE is an environmental health & justice organization, whose mission
is to bring attention to the community led solutions in
resistance to chemical exposures, environmental toxins,
environmental racism, and ecological destruction-all of which
negatively impact the health of overburdened communities.
We affirm the right that people of color, indigenous and immigrants
be free from any form of discrimination or bias.
Recognizing our natural relationship with the land, affirming self determination, and the cultural integrity of our communities.
RiSE centers community solutions to dismantle the root causes of injustice, through self-determination.
Envisioning a future with zero harm and zero pollution affirming the rights of people of color to represent and speak for themselves, reclaiming the future to safeguard the rights to clean air, land & water and the right to a healthy environment.
